Chapter nine

Engage
In the beginning of this chapter, Noland talked about a story of stage presence. In this story, a worship pastor was given the task to become more involved with the congregation. The main pastor explained how important it was for him to do this because it helps the congregation worship with you. This is an example of how much more willing the congregation will be to the worship leaders if they know them. This emphasizes getting involved with the people you are trying to lead into the Lords word.
This had actually happened in a past church of mine, but this happened to the main pastor. He wa not getting involved enough with his congregation, even though his teachings were really good. I like the main point of this chapter. I think it is extremely important to know who you are leading, especially to know how to best serve them.
