Fly that kite
Paul talked about how sometimes, when starting your worship you don't feel God there or like He's moving. He compared it to flying a kite, you have to run with it before it catches the wind and starts to soar. It's the same in worship. In the beginning, what matters is that you're there and you're ready for Him to move so that when He does it finds you and you can sore with Him as the wind beneath your sail.
This is so relevant. Even in worship services, sheesh even in the revival this past weekend, on day 3 I didn't feel God as we started. But I just kept praying and declaring the Lord was coming and asking that the Lord would anoint me in His fruits. After a few minutes of intense prayer on stage I began to feel Him and by the end of the service I was balling my eyes out. If you start running with the kite, fulling committing yourself to begin running with it the Lord will honor that and He will lift you up.
