Practice Spontaneity

Practicing spontaneity. Sounds weird, but in order to be fully in sync with the band you have to practice it. So that whether or not you end up speaking or quoting a verse during worship, everyone will be prepared. And when the Lord pushes you to do that without preparing for it, your band will be better prepared for it because you have rehearsed that in the past.

There are so many other tips in this video, but I feel that is the most important. When I first started practicing spontaneity, it felt so weird. But, the more I did it, the easier it became and the more I felt the Lord during worshipping. It also brought the band closer as well. The more you can just jam and go with the flow, the easier it will be for the Lord to flow through you. Being prepared for every scenario allows you to be a better vessel for the Lord.
